At Learning Revolution, we help experts – consultants, coaches, authors, speaker, trainers – discover better ways to scale, monetize, and achieve greater impact with their expertise. We help you leverage learning approaches and learning technologies to increase your reach, revenue, and impact and build a thriving business.
In short, we help you go from expert to edupreneur.
Why learning?
Well, if you consider what it takes to thrive in today’s world, the word learning comes up again and again. The need for continual, high-quality lifelong learning has never been higher. We live in a complex, fast-paced world where people – and businesses – really need help to keep up and to thrive.
For solopreneurs and small businesses with knowledge and expertise to share this represents a unique opportunity and our mission is to help you capitalize on it.
If you find yourself asking questions like …
- how do I find and connect with a broader audience that will value my expertise?
- how do I choose the right platform for courses, membership sites, coaching, and other offerings?
- how can I create courses, online communities, and other offerings to help people learn and monetize my expertise at scale?
- how do I deliver knowledge and learning experiences that will have real impact – i.e., actually create positive, measurable change for the people I serve?
- how can I market my educational offerings effectively to attract, retain, and grow a customer base for them?
- how can I create a business that generates recurring revenue and that is scalable, high impact, and that I’ll be able to sell some day if I choose to?
… then you are in the right place. Through the resources we publish on this site and through our regular e-mails, we’ll provide you with the knowledge and insights you need to become a successful edupreneur and lead the Learning Revolution!
What is an Edupreneur?
You can learn more about what an edupreneur is in this post. The short version for here is that an edupreneur builds a business on providing educational content and experiences to people who need them and are willing to pay for them.
If you are an expert in a particular field, industry, or topic area, there is a good chance you have previously generated income from your expertise either through working for someone else or through activities like coaching and consulting. As an edupreneur, you work for yourself and you move beyond trading time for money to creating scalable offerings that draw upon your expertise but are not dependent on you showing up personally every time your expertise is needed.
Like any other type of business, being an edupreneurial business takes work. We’re past the “gold rush” days of online courses and membership sites. To succeed as an edupreneur these days, you have to consistently do the things that business owners and leaders in any other market have to do: build an audience, come up with valid product ideas, choose the right platform for online courses and other offerings, consistently run successful product launches, and market your offerings effectively over time.
That’s what we are here to help you do.
So, if all of that sounds like a challenge – and an opportunity – you are up for, then welcome to the Learning Revolution!
